Hands-on Carpentry

Our Camp was built by volunteers, one small or large project after the next.
You can set up a time for us to work with your group to learn new skills, accomplish rank advancement projects while giving valuable infastructure to Camp Tonkawa.

Many Eagle Scout Projects greatly improved our facility, including an Indian supplies storage shed, deck on the Dragonfly lodge, riding arena shaded sitting area, horse mangers, Native Pasture cedar fence, movable chicken tractors and a bridge.

Many Girl Scout Bronze, Silver, Gold and "take action projects" can be found all over the camp from gardens, bird houses & feeders, remodled outdoor kitchen, eatting pravillion, tack room improvements, welded hitching posts, Arts & Craft storage benches with tables, Bee supply storage shed, picnic tables, and all our beautiful stepping stones.
